Tiger House – Live from the Banana Stand NYE 2011 will be released on December 20th follwing the band’s release event at the Doug Fir Lounge on Wednesday, December 19th! Until then, please enjoy “New York Sleep.”
If you weren’t at our annual New Year’s Eve party last year, then brother did you ever miss a party. It was one of those parties we can’t even write about on the Interent because too many attendees would be embarrassed or possibly jailed.
Our best buds The Greater Midwest and Tiger House played to a crowd of disorderly, yet ethusiastic fans who left enough empty glass in our basement to buy a brand new keg. At some point, we counted down to midnight and all cheered. It might have been the correct time. Who knows.
Tiger House have been one of our favorite bands and people since ever starting this project. We love those dudes. Hard. This live version of “New York Sleep” is pretty rippin’, and it’s all the better seeing them play it in the flesh, so be sure to make out to the release show at the Doug Fir Lounge on Wednesday, December 19th. It’s going to be a great setting to see these guys play, and it’s only $6 if you buy your tickets online. Check out this sweet poster that Dustin Mills, drummer for Tiger House, made for the release event!
Tiger House – Live from the Banana Stand was recorded before a live audience at the Banana Stand in Portland, OR on December 31, 2011. The album was mixed and mastered by Adam Harney. The Banana Stand would like to thank Tiger House (Bill, Carl, Dustin, and Ethan), all who participated in this album’s creation, and anyone that has helped us out along the way.
