Alex Arrowsmith is so fucking cool, I don’t think you understand. Alex has played more times at The Banana Stand than anyone else because he’s so awesome. We’re proud to release Alex Arrowsmith live with his Pugs, who are also live, and also fucking cool. Dig it.
A witty blend of humor, heart, and… humanness of pop? Yes! That’s what Alex Arrowsmith & his Pugs is, all those things and more. This live set was mixed by Alex himself who has mixed lots of our music before, and I think you’ll agree he did an outstanding work capturing the energy of the evening. It’s a damn shame if you weren’t there, but at least you get to hear this righteous album.
If I were a betting man, and I am, sweet addiction I am, I’d bet Alex will be back in 2011 to perform at The Banana Stand once again. But lucky for you there’s this whole album you can listen to right now.
We’re offering the album for pay-what-you-want, but hope you’ll consider giving $5 to help support the artists, the mixer, and Banana Stand Media so that we can continue our documentation process. There’s absolutely no reason not to download this album. Make sure to listen to the last song, it’s amazing.
