Liz Stringer’s voice seizes the listener’s attention from the outset of this number as she accents each lingering vocal with sharp guitar notes.
As the second guitar kicks in, Liz’s strumming gets heavier, sending the song into a smooth groove. The song kicks up pace just in time for her to swing into a gliding solo that seems to melt everything else away.
“Half Filled Cup” was recorded live to tape at Type Foundry in Portland, Oregon in September, 2015. The video features footage from camera operators Michael McInerney, Darren Hartman, Tyler Bertram, Nick Gattman, Guy Wagner, and Louie Herr and was directed and edited by Michael McInerney.
