"Welsh Rabbit emerged from the blossoming northwest pop scene in the late 90’s, forged out of an undeniable commitment to catchiness and a tendency towards stuck-in-your-head guitar jangle. The band split a year after the release of the quartets first recording, entitled "West 11th Love Letter". In October 2002, two of the founding members, Nick Levine and Kyle Chilla, reformed the band with Florida to Oregon transplant, Jordan Selman. Within a year the new line-up had completed the group’s sophmore "debut", aptly titled "Forward Motion", and recaptured the hearts of northwest concert-goers. After returning to the studio in fall of 2004 w/ S. Bartley (Think Airbag) the boys felt like they had their best material to date. Another recording session during the summer of 2005 rounded out "Don Quixote vs. Sancho Panza" (released November 2007). They are also currently working on their next record and planning a 2008 tour.
