About Radiation City:
Fresh from working with John Vanderslice in San Francisco on their new album and named Willamette Week’s Best New Band in 2012, Radiation City have established themselves as one of Portland’s most vibrant and enduring ensembles with the release of Animals In The Median in 2013. Featured in publications ranging from Daytrotter and Rolling Stone to KEXP and NPR Radiation City continue to captivate a national audience with their varied soundscapes and indelible vocal blends. About Hustle and Drone:
Founded and fronted by former Portugal The Man member Ryan Neighbors, Hustle and Drone have evolved from a duo to a trio over the last two years. Their emotional, yet danceable brand of music has captivated Portland audiences and beyond. The group's lastest effort Holyland was released by Red Bull and has been lauded by outlets like Willamette Week for its impressive ability to keep listeners' attention during even the sparsest moments of the album.

About TxE:
It may sound overly-superlative to refer to VS PRTLND as the most important Portland release of the year, but when you consider the fact that in 2014 the city of Roses and it’s hip-hop scene are at something of a crossroads, this perfect blend of Northwest-oriented hip-hop and indie-rock samples seems all the more vital. Made up of Tope, Epp, and (recent Portland ex-pat) Calvin Valentine - TxE have been on the Portland scene for a long time and with recent writeups from Willamette Week and XXL Magazine it looks like folks are finally taking notice.

About DJ Anjali & The Incredible Kid:
Few DJs can be said to have changed the sound of their city but that is exactly what DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid have accomplished since they first introduced Portland audiences to the many varied sounds of Global Bass at a raucous New Year’s Eve debut in 2000. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the heavy dance floor artillery of South Asia, but the duo scour the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local music traditions with window-rattling production.

About Portland State University:
Named one of Best Up-and-Coming National Universities of 2014 by U.S. News & World Report, Portland State's 49-acre downtown campus is located in the heart of one of America's most vibrant centers of culture, business and technology. PSU is recognized throughout the world for programs like Urban Planning, Social Work, and Environmental Studies that directly engage the community, and aim students towards the creation of a better, more sustainable world.
