You know it’s an intimate performance when a whole audience is sitting cross-legged around the performers. You could easily hear a pin drop as the Bevelers soft vocals float across the room in this video.
“Mary’s Peak” takes a minimal approach with a single acoustic guitar phrase, but Lee Aulson and Adria Ivanitsky’s harmonizing vocals fill the rest of the song with a hypnotic grace, immersing the audience in some beautiful imagery. It’s okay if you tear up a little.
“Mary’s Peak” was performed by Bevelers and was recorded before a live audience March 15th, 2014 at Banana Stand in Portland, Oregon. The video features footage from camera operators Michael McInerney, Darren Hartman, Tyler Bertram, and Quinton Anderson and was edited by Michael McInerney. Audio for this video was recorded and mixed by Michael Finn and mastered by Chris Vita.
