About the show: The We Shared Milk returned to The Banana Stand for a special early show. The group hosts members of Portugal. The Man and World's Greatest Ghosts, who had a show later that same night at Portland's Doug Fir Lounge. The group's additional two members deepened the groups garage-rock sound for the previous album recorded at The Banana Stand. The night closed with a great up-and-coming band The Woolen Men, whose multi-instrument set played out like a low-fi musical chairs that had the crowd talking for days.

Fun facts:

• A member of The Woolen Men works for Courier Coffee Roasters, the best coffee you can get in Portland. Sorry Stumptown Coffee, you’re still great, and it's cool you're in expanding to Brooklyn and Manhattan, but Courier Coffee is a little more delicious.
